Shinn House Tour

Tour the historic Shinn house and grounds in Fremont!

Join us for a picnic lunch at the Shinn House grounds & garden, followed by a guided tour of the Victorian house by docent Joannie Butler of the Chevelle Club. We’ll meet at the Shinn Historical Park and Arboretum, 1251 Peralta Blvd in Fremont at 11:15. Bring a picnic lunch and drink, we’ll have time to eat and visit prior to our tour at 1PM. A cash “donation” of $4 for adults, and $2 for children covers the one hour tour. See what “good living” was like 100 years ago!

Note that we will park in back, not in the parking lots in front: Drive in through the gate around the rite side of the house and park in the area between the house and the barn. It’s not paved, but hard pack dirt, and we should be the only ones parking there other than staff.
